Today was the first day of our VBS (they call it Holiday Bible Club here, but its the same thing). How did it go? Well, like any first day of VBS, a little confusing, but a whole lot of fun!! Band and singing was good, but my voice gave out at the end because of the motions and running out of breath (Landon takes it these days) and the song being in the break of my voice range. It really got me down today and I had some 'nightmares' about it when I took a nap this afternoon. The microphones were also messing up, so it added a little frustration on me, but all in all worked out great! As long as I kept the kids entertained we were all okay!
Derry worked with games and was outside all morning. When we got back home we both crashed (me longer than him) and took a nap in the A/C (it was nice).
Tonight we worked on cleaning the house. We found some new stuff to mop the wooden floors with. It works great and doesn't leave streaks or anything. Our FAs will be leaving the US on Tuesday and getting to Chiang Mai on Thursday (you gain a day when you travel here). We are super pumped to show them around Chiang Mai and to meet David and Norma and a few of our friends here.
