Sunday was HOT! We decided to go to the Sunday Night Walking Market to pick up some gifts for our family and friends. The SNWM is pretty cheap compared to other markets around this area, so we got some pretty good deals. While walking down the forever ending street, the sun was hot and was shining directly on us. Landon's little head was wet with sweat. As the night came it cooled off with the sun gone, but then started getting darker with clouds. We ended our night at Starbucks to go up to the 3rd floor and get some pics of the market. By the time we left, it was POURING DOWN RAIN! Hard and fast. We decided to go for it and ran all the way to our car ( a 7 or 8 minute walk). Landon had a GREAT time with his hands up in the air feeling the rain and a HUGE smile on his face. We got to the truck, packed it up with our purchase and little man, and of course I had to stand outside a little longer so Derry could pull out so I could get in my door. It was fun, wet, tiring, and a family adventure.
Needless to say, we all slept hard (Landon still had his socks on when he woke up this morning!!) and the stroller stinks like a locker room and our seats in the truck are still a *little* damp from the ride home last night.
Oh the fun stuff you can get into in Thailand!! =)
