stand up!

Suddenly, over night, my little angel decided that instead of laying down, or sitting down, she would like to stand and pull up!  She had NO interest in it whatsoever before Thursday.  Friday, as we were hanging out in the living room playing, I looked over and she had pulled herself up on one of our chairs FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!  It took me by surprise!  And later, as I was preparing dinner for the fam, Derry was playing with Landon and Landon said "Dada, Emy standin'".  Sure enough Derry looked up and Emery had pulled herself up again!  She wasn't up long before she promptly fell over, and of course cried.  Now all she wants to do is pull up and try to stand (but she is SO wobbly).  I'm really NOT READY for her to continue to grow up.  She has grown up to fast already!  And I won't even get started on how big my little man Landon is!

Air pollution is still really really REALLY bad.  You can't even imagine how bad it is.  Why?  They burn crops, fields, grass on the side of the road, etc. (even though it is illegal to do so) and the pollution from the vehicles hold it all in.  Chiang Mai is also surrounded completely with mountains, so it gets stuck here until it rains (rainy season doesn't start until May)! The pollution is so bad that a doctor here said it is like smoking 5 packs of cigarettes if you go out and jog in it!  NOTHING compares to this in the States.  Seriously. Pray for rain!
