testing his limits

That's right folks, our little 2 year and 8 month old is testing his limits this week.  BIG TIME!  This has been the hardest week of parenting him EVER!  For some reason, he has decided to poop in his underwear and diaper ONLY, scatter his books and stuffed animals ALL OVER his room during nap time, and is giving us a hard time putting him down at night too.  He gets up out of his bed, turns on his lamp, walks out of his room, etc. What happened to our sweet little boy?  It was all going SO WELL!!

This week has been so tiring and extremely hard on us both.  Emery has also decided to change up her sleeping schedule a bit.  She will either sleep through the night and wake up early, not going back down, or wake up once in the night and sleep 'til 7 or 7:30 (and one morning 8!).  It is progressively moving to the sleep all night, wake up early, so I think her bed time will be pushed back a bit sometime soon (if I can handle it!).  Five nights a week Derry is out teaching 'til 8pm, so it's all me with the kiddos.

Hopefully we can get control of our wee little man and figure out a good solution to our problems with him.  Hopefully it will come sooner than later!
