immigration and mr. cuteness

We went to immigration today.

Not much of a fun trip.

Especially with a 21 month old squirmy boy,

being 39 weeks pregnant,

and it's wet from the rain.

The first 30 minutes of it all was
Derry filling out paperwork
me sitting in the car with L
feeding him a cinnamon roll.

By then the rain had stopped and we got out,
loaded up the stroller
and waited.

Derry and I did our 90 day reporting.
We have a year long visa,
they just need to know we are still here,
every 90 days.
Yes, we do this EVERY 90 DAYS!

L's took the longest.
If you remember, we went to Singapore a few months ago
to get L a visa to stay in Thailand.
Today, they put him on Derry's visa.

Amen, praise the Lord, that they let us do this.
There has been a rumor that
they might stop putting kids on the religious visas.
Why?
Because monks don't have kids and aren't married,
why should religious leaders from other countries have them?

Anyways, it was a loooong day, with a 10 minute nap in the car from L.
Derry let me rest up for an hour while he watched little man.
I needed it.

But my feet are EXTRA swollen today.

At immigration,
L and I usually end up sitting outside in the sun and heat,
because there is more room for a stroller,
while Derry sits inside (with the AC) to watch the numbers.
We all sat outside today,
because I couldn't keep up with L by myself.

It's all done and over with
(at least for another 90 days).

Our next big adventure will be going to the American consulate
with a newborn, and a 21 month old.
We have to let America know that E was born here,
get a SS# for her,
and get her a passport.
(They will ask us where she was conceived,
no joke,
it is the funniest question to answer behind a glass partition.)

That was our big adventure today.
We all got a little red from the sun,
but we came out with what we needed!

Now,
Mr. Cuteness.
