The double hernia surgery is now done and over with. It went well and Derry is back home resting. He is in a lot of pain, and can't really move, but he is getting spoiled by his little wifey! On the way home from the hospital, Derry decided that he was going to almost pass out in my car. We pulled onto a side rode off of Hwy. 121 and he crawled out of my car and laid down on the pavement by the curb. Fortunately my dad was following us back home and he got Derry up and put them in his minivan to ride the rest of the way back to our apartment. It was scary and I am glad that my dad was there. The stairs up to the apartment wasn't that bad, he just took it one step at a time.
Thanks for all of your prayers, I know it helped me and Derry knowing that God was with us both.
